Hello, I’m Donnally Thomas Given (@glitterpunkrealtor) and I am a licensed real estate agent in Southern Nevada. Let’s talk about housing and all things associated with this industry. It can be chaotic and especially in the Las Vegas valley, a notoriously transient location with a real estate industry that can be more volatile than people are ready to stomach.
Navigating the real estate market anywhere can be a challenge but in a more volatile market, it is paramount that you have an agent who follows the changes so you don’t have to. I consume real estate news everyday so I am up-to-date on our local market and trends. Additionally, I follow all the local happenings so I can help you learn and understand the unique neighborhoods after leasing or buying a new home, or planning to sell your existing property. Many things can have an impact on home prices, and Las Vegas is an ever-growing and changing metropolis known as the entertainment capital of the world!
I am a Las Vegas native, born and raised. I have left my home town a couple of times to live in completely different locations - a small coastal city in California, and a similarly-sized city in the Pacific Northwest. I learned a lot! About real estate, local politics, community services and all the benefits that can be expanded to the people involved. I chose to move back to Las Vegas because I wanted to grow and raise my family here, where most of my family lived, and where all my friends tend to visit at least once a year. I am encouraged by the city’s growth, in particular in the downtown area and access to the art community that was so important to me as a young person in this city. While the cost of living is increasing, there are amenities and activities available to us locals that people travel from around the globe to experience.
